air is probably the worst, at best its useful for negating water and fire, but offensively its very meh

fire probably second worse mainly because earth and water are excellent counters, and it lacks range, although it has amazing offensive capabilities

water 2nd best, obv amazing fire counter, good counter against air, decent against earth, amazing defence solid offense good range and overall easy to control, can wreck havoc if used properly

earth the best, its amazing offensively and defensively, not rly countered by the others, overall just the most useful

more i think about it this gets way more complex when u consider group fights. air could be super useful as a support, water doesnt rly mesh well with other elements, maybe i underestimated air, also fire can augment pretty much any element to make it way more destructive
