Idk OP, what do you think would happen if 99% of the earth's population wasn't there anymore?

Then the same bullshit cycle will repeat lol

Depends on how we structure our relation with labor

Technology would greatly advance. Robots would take care of it

yeah? who's building the facilities to make said tech and robots? who's getting the resources? who's doing the software and ai?

they'd be overrun regardless and then at best enslaved by technology

Humanity ends because all the actual producers aren't there anymore.

The world would entirely collapse, considering all of its labor pool is gone and the rich have absolutely none of the skillsets needed to keep anything going in even a marginal sense (name one rich person who can farm)

And given their psychological conditioning after partaking in such a violent system of production, they’d tear at each other before they could get anything done

According to the 'Global Wealth Report 2021' published by Credit Suisse, there are 56 million millionaires in the world in 2020, increasing by 5.2 million from a year earlier. The biggest number of dollar millionaires is reported in the USA, with 22 million millionaires (approximately 39% of the world total).

There would still be 56 million people on Earth so I guess there would be some shambolics for a while but eventually the richest millionaires would find a way to enforce their power on the poorest millionaires which would become the new poor and sooner or later everything would be almost the same

The liquid cash at this point in time would be way less valuable than those who own the land the factories and actual resources/supplies

  • Jun 15, 2022

The poorest millionaires would realize they ain’t s*** compared to the real rich

To be real yall saying OP is dumb for asking this but it's a lot more interesting concept than a lot of Life sxn threads

According to that s*** there would still be 56 million people on the planet if it was millionaires and above left

@OP A better/more severe question would be if only billionaires were left, because a quick google search says there are 2668 billionaires

Even the downgrade to 56 million people on earth would be interesting thought experiment though. (in theory. that's like a mass extinction event if we talking for real)

And yeah those millionaires would be the new poor in relation to the billionaires or whoever has the most land and means of production, but it would also be about who could grab onto power once that happens

    math fifty

The concept of rich only exists if theres poor

Capitalism requires the exploitation of the poor by the rich

If theres no poor then theres no one to exploit

Would the billionaires be able to make the millionaires work? or would the millionaires overthrow the billionaires? would it be everyone for themselves? and then everybody just destroys each other? would they come together?
