Ed Sheeran overhated, he’s a good songwriter

Used to think he was corny as s***, but my boss (a stan) and I watched all his live concerts drunk off our asses and he sounds good when he’s not overproduced

He has this beautiful song visiting hours on his last album

Aight Ed bros I gave it a first listen and my raw thoughts are that overall its aight a lot of it is soft pop rock/acoustic songs that kind of makes the lyrics flourish a bit more?

Lyrically it focuses on self doubt/depression and with views into his personal life such as his wife dealing with cancer while having his second daughter (Toughest and Sycamore)

Last album of his I listened to was divide and i see myself putting this in between that and multiply in terms of sound.

My favs off first listen are
Boat
ColourBlind (this reminds me a lot of Perfect hell even the chorus sounds the same and I quite like that song of his)
Curtains ( I can see this being another single)
Borderline
Vega
Sycamore (has a "I See Fire" feel to it)

I didn't know he collabed with Aaron Desner on this

Fair enough I don't see Photograph and Tenerife Sea in that list

I remember when I first heard the album Don't was one of the songs I liked the least but it grew on me. I agree on Thinking out loud being overhated sure it's overplayed by now but it's such a nice love song

Multiply only album I’ve ever heard from him and it was in rotation the year it came out

Never really heard the rest of his albums just singles

Might go through all of them before hearing this
