Tom Cruise is the goat

I just happened to watch this on Max and man this was incredible. I'm surprised that i've never heard of this film but it did come out a year after Pacific Rim and has very similar vibes, perhaps it got overshadowed. I'm also shocked that this hasn't gotten a second film yet with the way that Tom Cruise is so on top of sequels for his films

I wish there was more scenes of Cage and Vrataski kicking ass in the mech suits. The one scene after Cage finally got good with suit reminded me of Attack on Titan with the way they zipping around and killing the aliens. Interesting to find out this is actually a Manga adaptation as well lol. It has a lot of striking similarities story wise with Attack on Titan, the more that I think about it lol.. Wild to think this is probably the best live action manga adaptation we've ever gotten and no one really talks about it

Make the sequel before Emily Blunt completely ruins her face with cosmetic surgery
