Oh did subtronics win the big “artist contest” 😴
Great art is not mercerised by awards and contests, but by the listeners emotional responds.
Will check subtronics out, but all this Leonardo Di 🧢 Meme is 😑

Subtronics @ Electric Forest 2019
In 2019, Subtronics collaborated with the likes of Rusko, SNAILS, Midnight Tyrannosaurus, Kayzo, PhaseOne, Zeds Dead, Ganja White Night and several other dance music staples. There’s even some unreleased tunes, like one with Excision, that Subtronics is currently sitting on.
Even with all those major collabs, Subtronics’ breakthrough moment came from the viral sensation “GRiZtronics” with the funky man himself: GRiZ. Easily one of the biggest dance songs of the year, the single saw amazing growth from outside of the dance world through TikTok; at one point, being the top song on the social platform. Along with the massive numbers on TikTok, the song went on to net Subtronics with his first Billboard Dance top ten hit.
In terms of actual streaming numbers, he racked up over 16 million streams and over 2 million unique listeners on Spotify alone. “GRiZtronics” was his most played song of the year, bringing in a whopping 2 million plays.
"Frankenstein" by A$AP Rocky & Swedish House Mafia will leak in any moment now
That already leaked a month ago, right?

!https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=seyHagVhyNoI just checked up on him/her, I like the bass work, but the whole Skrillix stap thing and build up are so cringed for me.
To me this EDM and Flume is IDM
Flume did something very special this year, IDM is not dead at all.
Still hungry for new sounds and creative ideas
when was IDM ever dead?

why do awards matter at all lol
I check releases and listen to a bit of brostep at the gym, but I can't get into it for longer than 15 minutes at a show. Same drums over and over, same serum into 5 OTTs. Like, it's cool, but it feels like the songwriting aspect takes a backseat to the over the top mid range bass "go hArRdD" aspect of it.
Went to Basscenter day 1 to catch KLO and Teklife, was kind of over it by the end of the night.
Still can really get into wonky minimal dub stuff though.
you peep this new pic whip cream posted?
Surprised this hasn't been posted yet
