I’m probably a year too late on this but it must be said.

Kanye did this beat SO much justice on Nas’ Bonjour, that once you hear Education, it honestly sounds like one of the s***tiest songs I’ve ever heard by comparison.

Tbh I’ve never seen a situation in which two producers utilize the same sample and one ends up being THAT much better than the other. Kanye truly made Madlib look like a piece of s*** producer of all time when he’s actually quite the opposite. I think Madlib is a genius otherwise, but he really dropped the ball here.

Kanye gave so much life to Bonjour that it’s hard to put into words.

There has to be some non-Madlib d***riders and non-Kanye haters that agree with me on this.

Kanye took the beat/sample from Madlib tho, when Madlib sent him the beat tape in Pablo era it had the Bandana beats on it. I don’t really like one that much more than the other as a beat, I do like Tony Williams on Bonjour but the rapping on Education is miles ahead of Nas

It's one of those songs I have to constantly force myself to listen to, so it's often skipped. Yeah it has a star stubbed cast, and their spitting heat, but maybe its because of Freddie being on it, like it doesn't mesh well or something.
