This an exempt from a Miyazaki interview and we really already expected this but im really happy he says that.

Basically the Open world is also a tool for Miyazaki to drop way more crazier s*** and enemies at us since you cant get hardstuck that easy.
I think we saw this already with Margrit whose moveset was incredibly complicated for a early game boss.
Now the question remains: wtff are the endgame bosses gonna be like
Dark Souls 1 vibes
keep certain areas gated behind much higher difficulty but still make them possible to beat if you know what to do
about where i'm at as well. think i'll be fine, but man, generally cannot stand open world games.
I'm really not a fan of open world games, only very few of them have done that right imo.
I played the demo and that didn’t really change my opinion of it either unfortunately. That being said, I was limited to 3 hours and having a time constraint put on your gameplay really isn’t the best way to experience a game. If I actually don’t end up enjoying the open world aspect of the game I can only hope the map isn’t too big
EVERY DAY THE WAIT GETS HARDER EVEN THOUGH WE'RE NEARLY THERE
GONNA BE THE FIRST TIME IN MY LIFE PLAYING A FROMSOFT TITLE ON DAY ONE COULDN'T BE MORE EXCITED

i trust your judgment on it
was unfortunately not lucky enough to get picked for the CNT.
still gonna pick it up (legitimately purchased or not) because those magic animations are absolutely insane. i just know how open world games for me, and i just do not have a good time. i enjoy ghost of tsushima quite a bit, but had to take a year long break before actually finishing the game

Sekiro was the first one I played on launch day
The hype then was unreal and this is gonna be 3x as crazy

Miyazaki on Game difficulty and „easy mode“
Yes, we have. It’s a valid discussion. I feel like our approach to these games, not just Elden Ring, is to design them to encourage the player to overcome adversity. We don’t try to force difficulty or make things hard for the sake of it. We want players to use their cunning, study the game, memorize what’s happening, and learn from their mistakes. We don’t want players to feel like the game is unfairly punishing, but rather that there’s a chance to win a difficult encounter and make progress. We understand that Souls-like games are regularly associated with impossible levels of difficulty with high barriers to entry. But we try to design the games to make the cycle of repeatedly trying to overcome these challenges enjoyable in itself. So we hope that with Elden Ring and the new options it provides, it will be a success in that respect.
Cute little teaser cant wait to figure more out 👀

Interesting, I guess you’re either an open world type of person or a linear type of person because personally not a fan of linear games, I prefer exploration and freedom
