I actually think the idea of crafting could be very benefitial to souls games since somtimes you just dont have enough arrows/ firebombs for the right situation and dont wanna return to the firelink shrine to buy them.

But now you can craft them

It'll be years before I end up playing this game I doubt I'll have a PS5 before at least mid 2023. And I still need to finish Bloodborne + start Dark Souls 1, 3 and Sekiro. Own physical copies of them all, but my PS4 has the auto eject issue Don't want to play Elden Ring before any of those

Had to peep some early impressions, I love that the overall sentiment is that this is a MASSIVE game with an unrivalled sense of exploration and atmosphere that is almost too overwhelming sometimes legit think this first playthrough is gonna take me a couple months

This their first open world and it looks like they've increased the options you have in combat. I think it'll feel like a huge step back if I go from Elden Ring to Dark Souls 1 or 3
