FromSoft games legit manage to scare me more than actual horror games, when you enter a new area or stumble on some boss you have no idea how to fight, the feeling of helplessness is so visceral

GMG since they're authorized to sell keys by the companies. iirc CDKeys is more of a "grey market", where they generally get keys from regions with lower exchange rates, then just sell em. GMG usually has new, bigger releases for like $10 off, so if I'm buying any games for my PC, I generally get em from there or Fanatical.

I ended up getting Elden Ring for $49, and FFVI PIxel Remaster for $12 earlier this week.

I never played it before. Just copped it for $25 with the new update to play for the first time on PS5. I think content wise it's basically all the same, they just fixed performance stuff and added some dynamic events I guess.

This a serious question? The horizon hype was always artificially inflated by Sony/reviewers just like deathloop. Also the game is just decent. Elden ring is game of the generation material

I agree. I enjoyed DS3 much more.
Bloodborne probably my favorite all time gameplay wise. But sometimes I like switching DS3 up top just because you can customize your character and build more.

I'm almost sure Elden Ring will be my favorite FromSoft game though the variety of playstyles alone make it top tier. The exploration and amount of content will put at #1 for sure

not really, the first was boring, i havent played the second, meanwhile the predecessors to elden ring are dark souls, bloodborne and sekiro. I can't speak to the quality of horizon 2 but its obvious why elden ring has more hype.
