really shocked this isn’t hitting 60 frames on XSX

Wish so badly that I liked FromSoftware games. Have tried so many times. I just suck ass at them.

This one will be different since you can just go somewhere else it you hit a wall. Give it a shot, just look at all the acclaim this getting

Bought Far Cry 6 and Death Stranding a few weeks ago and haven't even gotten around to starting Death Stranding yet

Also just got a dog this week which is destroying my wallet so I gotta think hard before blowing $70, on some broke s*** lol

I mean when so many people are calling it one of the greatest games of all time already its worth it if it ends up s***ting on all the other games you can play atm and most people who played it already put in 80+ hours and havent even scratched the surface. So many content its def worth the money

Also its like 58 euros which isnt much for such a big hyped game tbh

patch v1.02 on both PS5 and XSX:

frame rate 50+ if u look at the ground
frame rate 40+ if u look up/around

those 10 frame drops are very noticeable in combat

What platform did you play? All the people who got early access said there werent any real noticeable annoying framedrops during combat (luckily only had that problem with 1 fight in their series but it was an easy and slow boss so idc)

I dont think we would see so many perfect 10s if framedrops were that bad bc otherwise these bosses would be impossible to beat

They even said ps4 doing fine and thats what im on, still lowkey a bit scared but i trust From after all my past experiences

true maybe its gradual dropping from 55 to 45 then rather than a solid 10 right

im sure my eyes would notice 10 frames missing

So should I play ps4 version on ps5 if I want a stable 60? Do we know if/how much the performance will improve with day 1 patch?

anyone here playing on ps5 yet, how’s the performance mode? i’m seeing a ton of different takes ranging from god awful in later areas to just okay in others

absolutely. im real real bad at games and play everything on very easy and i beat all these. you gotta go into it thinking its not just hard hard hard, its really just a skill and a technique and a language u gotta learn basically. its not impossible every single fight and boss is sooo doable and thats why its addictive and special

watch some 'things to know' and 'tips and tricks' videos before going in, if a boss gets super tough watch videos of people beating it if you need to but also just have fun exploring
