I basically put up the shield and play like normal, just hold L1 through the whole fight, 9/10 times i don’t even need it but the fact that you know you have it up and ready is a comforting feeling, you can play be more ballsy that way

Def get one that says it has physical at 100, i use the brass shield which is dropped from higher up goddrick soldiers rarely.

It does full damage absorbtion instead of partial, metal shields in general do that. Wood n most leathers only partial. Sidenote but mine also has a cool ash abilitu i gave it, storm wall, deflects arrows and other physical projectiles back with wind
