After playing for a couple of days I agree. The enemy AI has been overhauled to be wayyy more aggressive. In the old souls games you can spam spells and the bosses kinda just sit there . But in elden ring sitting far away causes the smarter bosses to close the gap so fast it’s hard to pull off two casts at once without getting hit. Basically you’re still forced to doge and time attacks like a melee character this time around.
Exactly
Took me 3 hours to beat him
We ended up dying together lol
Isnt it ur first or near first tho?
Its normal to get to grips early on, ive played them all except demons souls at this point (n of course playing thru elden ring atm).
N we back
After i eat my lunch got everything taken care of in the morning
Work from home LETS GO
Do the bosses get more difficult every time u die? Sure feels like it
No lol
Do the bosses get more difficult every time u die? Sure feels like it
bosses are only more difficult (more hp) for every player/npc you summon for coop.
sometimes it is much easier to beat a boss solo because of this.

Played Bloodborne when it came out but never finished it because it was too hard for me, might give it another go after I'm done with Elden
Got Demon's Souls recently cause I got a PS5 and I really like it (ain't beat it yet tho) although its harder than ER for me, I just hate that u gotta go through the same 30 enemies everytime u die and in ER u get a checkpoint before the boss so I really like it
After the first death they defo add different attacks
Na bro you’re just making it further into the fight lmao
what you’re saying is not a thing

I dunno how you guys say magic is so OP I have like 65 INT and the best staff on lv9 and deal no damage to these c***s
My meteorite staff doing plenty
What are your go to spells
Dont wanna sound like an a****** but maybe you dont know what youre doing yet with this build
They should make one of these games and just set it in New York City
Worst idea oat

lowkey sound hilarious. imagine looting around to find some timbs (+5)
Did they really have to f***ing make it so that you confusedly look at your staff in a locked animation for 3 seconds while a boss kills you EVERY TIME I RUN OUT OF MANA
Stating my 2nd playthrough, this time doing an int build.
What's some good int weapons?
I want to focus spells

Just realized From gonna have a field day with the rat enemies placements if its set in NYC

I want to focus spells
meteorite staff for early to mid game (accessible through warp chest to caelid, sneak through mine and find it nearby in swamps then teleport back)
then in late game take your pick and upgrade either azurs glintstone staff (found at academy) or the other named glintstone staff (found in caelid)

I want to focus spells
Meteorite staff x moonveil katana
Is what im running
Can get both fairly early on
Usefull spells to melt bosses quick should be Glinstone Pebble, Carian Slicer and Meteorite Sling
Theres a lot more flashy spells but i wont spoil, this is just the go to set up in terms of being efficient early to mid game

I did a katana build on my last playthrough but its looking like its the only option if I want to use spells too
eh I tried a 50 int and 50 dex build cause I was f***ing around with rebirth and it wasn’t as good as my 90 int build, the stats don’t increase a lot because of the diminishing returns you mentioned but but your int effects the sorcery scaling number on the staff so that makes your damage go up a lot
dex effects cast time but not enough to make it worth it. I would just focus on vigor, mind, and intelligence
bro, did you beat draconic tree sentinel?
