as someone who has never played a souls game. this is by far one of the greatest games I've played and I'm not even done yet. Its impressive what FromSoftware have done with this game. Hope other companies follow suit when creating immersive, difficult, and rewarding open worlds.
Glad u took the leap n it paid off

Welcome, now play Bloodborne AKA the other greatest game of all time
Might not be as big and ambitious as Elden Ring but i actually prefer the combat mechanics and the Lovecraftian atmosphere has never been done as well
Especially the DLC is 12/10
Malenia first fight in souls history I dont even want to beat
Is it really that bad? I've heard people say the same about Radahn, like the backlash to Radahns fight is huge from what i've seen but it just looks way to cool to really be that garbage
Arcane? Why would you put points in Arcane is it necessary for faith builds or something? I thought it was for item discovery I'm on the sorceries side of magic so idk
Its mainly for discovery, with some buff to spells in general but not much
Edit: Its really hard to come across equipment ESPECIALLY armor without decent Arcane
If yall aint known by now im cosplaying as a dragon slayer pretty much basically
I'm cosplaying as a rogue Raya Lucaria student who also knows how to handle a katana

i think ppl are fighting Radahn too early tbh
it’s likely happening so often cuz of the world layout, but i wouldn’t fight him third after Renalla
Kinda wanna help people out ngl what you guys think is a good boss to put my mark?

Huh? No other way around its so f***ing good

I've just seen a looooot of posts saying his fights needs to be reworked a bit, that it's way too unfair
But i haven't gotten to him yet so i wouldn't know
In general i feel a lot of the epic looking main bosses have gotten backlash even though mostly everybody seems to love the game
I gotta agree somewhat that some of these bosses look wayyyy too agressive for this game, they look faster than most Bloodborne bosses and in Bloodborne you were more mobile yourself compared to the PC now
That's also the reason why i die so much to bosses because all those long ass combos that forces you to roll spam makes me panic so hard

Dragonscale Curved Greatsword, Exile chest pants n gloves + champion headband i look i been thru some s***

Any main
Goddrick n margit seem to be huge walls for brand new ppl
I would think that would be, n Dragonkin Nokstella

Which order you went in for the main line up after Rannala? I feel like most ppl def do her after Godrick but after that you can go either way

lol that last part about the big bosses’ never ending combos is so f***ing true, i was thinking that while fighting Morgott last night
dude has like 5 different combos that he can seamlessly switch between based on how you’re attacking/defending, 2 or 3 of which have like 8 blows back to back to back lmaooo
Huh? No other way around its so f***ing good
Just saying what i've read on the sub, so many Radahn hate posts it just caught my eye
I love everything about it from what i have seen so far but since i haven't actually fought him i can't say nothing about the fairness of the fight yet

Morgott -> and now I’m heading to Rykard, saving Radahn for last

I'm switching the fit up whenever i find some drip i fw but whenever i'm in Liurnia/Raya Lucaria area i'm rocking that Raya Lucarian Set making em all think i'm just your average sorcerer student going to his glinstone class and then i pull out the Katana real fast and chop all them mfs heads off
Just met Ranni forreal, i have a question for those further:
In Souls games i like not linking the fire because i believe the philosophy is that nothing lasts forever nor should it, in a life, political n ideal way n why keeping the fire alive for too long always ends up f***ed up.
In Elden Ring, its not really the same imo at least that i know of so far. Idk if i want to end it all, will i be locked to her if i accept? Can i do her stuff wothout being fully commited? I dknt wanna fully commit to anyone until i get more lore n answers.
I f*** it im doing her quests i like iji n blaidd lmao.
Read u dont fully commit until picking an ending tho so hopefully thats right n i can still do/talk others this playthru.

MY DIET SOLELY CONSISTS OF DRAGON HEART PROTEIN SHAKES ALL DAY

spoils some late game spells but some of these dragon ones are f***ing ridiculous

Yeah i don't even know why From chose to do that to like the majority of the bosses. Even some of the lesser bosses gave me a lot of trouble
Leonine Misbegotten was so agressive he gave me nightmares and the whole Soulsborne community would laugh at the amount of times it took me to kill that mf, had to leave him be and come back to Weeping when i got my level up

I think the issue people have is that he is balanced around being fought at any level basically. Meaning while his attacks are super well telegraphed they deal so much damage I doubt you could even have enough vigor at level 120 or so. But they give you some help which might reduce the fight to a gimmick fight in the eyes of many. But I think you can approach him in many different ways.

yeah i didn’t link the flame in DS1, walked right away from that ho
