There was a bug where maxing out your weapon at +25 actually decreased your damage

And Moonveil totally needed a nerf it was like triple the speed of my greatsword while also having a strong ass ranged attack that would stagger the boss in 3 hits

So I made it to Margit. I haven't beaten him yet but he's surely beating my ass (for now) and I dropped 3K runes at his spot and the only way to retrieve them is to actually win the fight, so I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place. So far I've been stubborn enough to beat a few optional bosses before I even had a horse and knew how to level up, so I'm going to go at him a bit more. I know 3K isn't much for y'all but for a beginner like me, that's my bread and butter

if you quit the game in the middle of the boss fight, it spawns you just outside the arena when you load back in.

Pick up your runes and quit the game before he kills you and you should be fine

Also hopefully that teaches you to level up as soon as you have enough runes

You can make 3K in 5 minutes in limgrave by killing those giant trolls though

Dude, I just can’t f***ing beat the final boss. I’ve gotten him within one hit twice, and down to 10 percent like 7 times now and something always gets me at the last second

Equip some throwing daggers or sumn and just spam them when hes super low like that.

I’ve literally tried co-op summons 5 times and legit my mimic tear is more dependable than these dudes. Can barely make it out of Phase I with them

They all play out exactly the same man, go under the boss and hit the feet. 80% of the time you probably don’t even realise you are fighting a dragon because you are always under them and can barely see the boss models except their feet

Tbf co-op summons give the boss more HP so its probably harder. Mimic tear def the way to go

This, but tbh I cant actually imagine how they would make a dragon fight that doesn’t end up just being annoying asf because of their huge model and because they can fly, s*** would be so tedious as a melee. On top of them all doing the same move sets the dragons in their current state don’t even fly around that much and it’s already annoying as it is

I’m fighting Elden Beast which is probably my least favourite boss in the game and I feel like its actually hard to implement good mechanics with the larger bosses. All this nigga does is teleport around the arena every time you get close and its so tedious

the kukri knives are so op for this tactic. throw like five solid knives and you chunk a mf good

yeah, i can't really fault fromsoft for the same-y dragon fights. guess you can really only do so much without making em more annoying than they already are.

as for the fight you're on: that fight is ass bro. such a disappointing final fight looks cool as hell, but the moveset is pretty lacking imo and teleports everywhere. that's also why i appreciate the "human-size" fights so much more than the oversized ones. honestly, i think the fights with "human-sized" were the only ones i genuinely really liked. the oversized ones are just never really that fun imo.
