I've only played most of Dark Souls 2 and most of Bloodborne so far, but I own DS Remastered, DS3, Sekiro and haven't touched them yet. I want to play all these games before ER because my fear is that they'll feel like a step backwards if I play ER first
I think I'm going to finish off BB, then play DS Remastered, then Sekiro, then DS3
If you play BB or DS3 ER will be fine, thats the modern era
Elden Ring is closes to DS3
Demons OG to DS2 is when the series used to be clunky tho & the biggest difference
Sekiro is almost its own completely diff thing but still amazing and solidly tight
Melina
FARUM
How tf is this not the final area bro it feels so much like final level vibes popping off n i still have two portions of the map covered im 175 hours in level 135

U can maybe deduct 10 hours from idle time n 5 hours from co-op boss play but still
Take away 15 to 20 hours this is still at least 150 hours of me doing "everything" i can n i know i f***ed two sidequests up bro that i cant complete this is crazy

I definitely want to play them all, so ER has to be last. DS1 has to be first after I finish off BB because it's older and clunky. The reason I'm thinking Sekiro before DS3 is because apparently being good at Sekiro will help you master parrying in DS3
It's also more of an action game, no focus on leveling up and less variation in playstyles
But I'm also thinking of just saving them all for PS5. Maybe finish off more linear games like Doom on PS4 so I can sell some of them and get money to go towards a PS5

Sekiro parrying is a bit different. It's a lot faster and a core part of the game. It's also your main way of defense as opposed to dodging.
Tbh I never parried at all in DS3
but everyone as their own playstyle
I have a portion of the map covered n i have not found real mohg yet
Hagitree i still gotta go too and that other island

Fortissax is kind of a pain in the ass to get to. You have to do Fia's questchain.
Also the path to the other part of the snow area is pretty hidden. I never would have figured it out without google.

I know you completed alot of contend already but finishing the Farum Azula might lock you out of a few things.
Haligtree and Mohg are definitely still possible tho. Might just explore and s*** and do the area and then look up what you still gotta do before you beat Malikeths ass

I dont think much of Sekiro will translate at all to the other games, parrying is diff in sekiro n the regs. The timing & hit boxes, along with most of the game feel.
Just make sure u dont burn urself out, the games are challenging but it aint "that serious".
My best suggestion would play at least DS3, n maybe one other modern one then ER, then go backward.
Its up 2 u tho, just dont get burned out or sick of it.
BB, DS3 & Elden ring are also the top 3 best imo atm.
Sekiro imo is the hardest, DS2 the easiest.

You can save those areas til the very end. I had already killed Malekith when I started doing all the hidden s***.
