Academy was so cool too imo especially all the optional pathways over the roofs. In general the jump button just made Miyazaki and his team go nuts here. Leyndell I didnt even know you can jump over all the house

My next play thru im either doing arcane + str or dex, or im going magic knight

I would also love to do a whip playthru, they finally made whips intersting n good

That part is cool but everything else is meh imo, the roofs n waterwheels were dope tho but it was a bit underwhelimg after stormveil, i feel the manor would have been a better follow up

Executioner Greatsword, the bleed rapier and/or Elenoras blade look super heat for Arcane n then i can use more dragon n blood spells

I made an astrologer and im lvl 34 and bored of spells, should i try another class? Whats the most fun to play?

U know what a faith int split build looks awesome too they have hella pyro n holy spells thats exclusive to that n some them are wild af like the wave of light spell n the pyro one thats like a sticky bomb u get from the manor

Then the few weapons that benefit from that split like Night n Flame

yeah but I realized I haven even used normal weapons basically all my weapons on my level 250 character are +10 with somber smithing stone. I completely ignored ashes of war

I did too for the most part except my hammer

My Battle Hammer was the only non somber weapon i used the whole game n would switch between 4 ashes for it so i used them a bit

Besides that tho i would just test some out at the hub n be like "oh thats dope af" then never use again

Theres so many tho n some of them are ridiculous to straight up broken lmao

Theres one that creates a phantom of u after u strike then the phantom strikes right after n u can get it from a night rider knight in the first snow area, before mountains of the giants, imma need that

All the legacy dungeons are chefs kiss tier tbh

Stormveil is the first moment in the game where you get that classic soulsborne level design and it’s where your journey really starts with the amazing Godrick fight

Raya Lucaria could have been slightly bigger but the vibes were amazing especially as someone playing a sorcerer character. The entrance with the blue magic mist, the secret paths you can find in the academy, all great

Now i did the Blaidd and Ranni quest that kicked off the Radahn Festival so Castle Redmane is the only one that i haven’t “fully” experienced but it houses the fight with the greatest buildup to it (with the announcer hyping yall up) and the eerie music playing while that dark red sky surrounds you is super atmospheric

Volcano Manor was super dope as well, i loved how it has another roundtable type of room that leads to multiple quests, i love all the talk about Rykard and how he should be put down. Just searching for him in that hellscape full of lava felt amazing especially since the lava damage was pretty much non existent

Now Leyndell... WHEW. This probably is what Miyazaki and his team always had envisioned for a golden capital city. Anor Londo fully realized. It’s huge, it breathes history. Endless intertwining pathways a la DS1 and if that isn’t enough there’s a whole ass sewer system underneath the city

Did Haligtree yesterday and gotta say it’s up there with my favs for sure. It does the tree branches paths thing without being too frustrating or too hard to navigate. I really enjoyed just finding my way through this area for some reason

FARUM AZULA. The greatest entry into a legacy dungeon with the giant tornadoes and dragons flying everywhere.. i had to warp out of there at the first site of grace i could find bc i have yet to fight Malenia & Mohg first... but i’m already positive this is gonna he a f***ing BANGER

Those were all the legacy dungeons right?

Underground as a whole is also top 3 if that counts

my favorite is the capitol as well

Its WOAT and GOAT at the same time, you get lost so hard at first in there and it’s like every annoying enemy in the game just ganks you in that particular area

But also what better location to use as a giant NOPE F*** THIS S*** area than the dirty sewers underneath the perfect golden royal capital? Fromsoft goated

gonna have to run the manga after, Im loving everything so far and surprised it took me this long to start

I love the underground so much n the first one i did was the one near where u meet blaidd n that s*** exploded my mind with the elevator ride down s*** was beautiful n i had no idea that s*** existed at all it was such a crazy moment that i havent had since when i first took flight off a planet in No Mans Sky such a next level experience

eleonoras is sickkkkk you will have a great time with it. i know rivers of blood has become a meme weapon but it was dope af to run too

also what is that Greatsword you’re running mightve just convinced me to run a big boi build

the manga is even better from what I heard
