i cant finish the game because Elden Beast is just too strong and i cant 100% achievements because Malenia is too strong, them instant 1 hit AoEs when im over 40 vigor are bad design

game went from 10/10 to 9/10 for that alone lmaoo

how have i killed every single other boss but not these last two? what the f***

….you’re probably just not strong enough. I went and explored more and did more quests and then returned to fight them later

getting 1 hit by aoe probably has to do with low magic resistance, rethink your equipment maybe

for a mage build?

should i be lvl 150 then? im only lvl 132

Malenia's 3 hit combo kills me almost every time because of its multiple slashes im a wide area

and i forgot, i used holy negation + nonphysical negation, helps with Elden Beast a lot and avoids 1 hits but still sooo tough

ive tried Elden Beast 10-15 times but Malenia over 30

trying looking through all your equipment and selecting the best magic resistance. leveling up helps too, I was 150 when I beat malenia

yeah the 3 hit combo is basically instadeath, you just need to abuse the invincibility frames of your roll

Don’t worry bro I was level 150 with 60 vigor and attemped Malenia AT LEAST 40 times before I beat her

malenia is the hardest part of the game so it’s best to complete everything else beforehand, after Malenia nothing else scared me

finally got all achievements. would've got it in my first new game plus but i f***ed up with millicent's questline and couldn't get the needle to fix the bad ending. did another quick playthrough and finished the last one in like an hour and a half
