ive dipped my toes into most soulsbornes (dark souls, bloodborne, sekiro) as in a boss or two in.

now that i just got to the valley of the giants i feel like im fairly deep into elden ring, but i've been wondering if im going to go for a ng+ run or what it would be like to back track and actually finish the other games.

Would you say that Sekiro is overall better than Elden Ring?

I personally preferred the faster pace combat of Bloodborne over DS3. In addition, I kinda found the DS3 world boring compared to Bloodborne (excluding Anor Londo and Smouldering Lake)

Just realized that i got DS3 on on PSN at Christmas for $20 and Bloodborne at Best Buy for $40 last summer

Yeah they go on sale pretty often at least

But tbh if any game is worth full price it's these

They're both great just really different. Sekiro follows the same formula as DS3/BB only there's more verticality involved (you get a grappling hook ) and the fighting is a lot more fast paced. It's a parry/rhythm based system.

Elden Ring is a monster. Like 80 hours on your first playthrough at least and the world is like 10x the size of the other games. The combat is basically Dark Souls 3 improved in every way. You can use jump attacks, more weapon arts, more spells, etc.

This is interesting cause I did notice that the amount of damage the bleed dogs do is just absurd

Sometimes the controls of this game irritate my soul

Feel like the lock on aim has been abysmal since these updates. Wish the sprint button wasn’t the same as the f***ing dodge roll button

I started playing a new game of Sekiro for like the 45th time and I think this is my favorite From game tbh. Elden Ring extremely close second I just absolutely love the deflect/weapon art/prosthetics combat so much it’s so hard to sway away from it once you experience it, whether that be the first or 200th time

this b**** pops up enough and when she does it actually feels worthwhile instead of "oh new dialgue option now"

sekiro has nothing to do with elden ring, gameplay is an outlier compared to the others

Yeah tbh it would be nice if she just showed up everytime you rest at the grace, maybe have some dialogue and animation for leveling up, small things like this can go a long way

Yeah Sekiro is overall the better game imo

Bloodborne is free on PS5 if you got PS+

My favorite From game tends to change based on which one I'm playing at the moment

As of now I'd say Sekiro / Elden Ring > DS3 > Bloodborne > DS1 > DS2 > Demons

It doesn't really matter anyhow. All of these games are amazing.
