For my NG+ I'm thinking of doing a sorcery build. I would do pure faith but Incantations are so bad in this game.

after nearly 120 hours, two full playthroughs and obtaining all the achievements it's safe for me to say this is my favorite FromSoft game and in my top five games of all time

Dang, you have seen right through us. Game is horrible and I hate it. It makes me sick to my stomach whenever I play it but I've put in over 100 hours because I need the bragging rights to make myself look good on the internet. Didn't realise what I was doing until I saw your post. Thank you for setting me free.

Incantations are not bad at all. There might be less "universally viable" ones, but a pure faith build is doable.

Lightning spear can one/two shot most mobs in the game. Charged Flame of frenzy can easily one shot most things and if it doesn't, it'll stagger them. Bestial sling and the rock throw are rly good. Black flame is rly good. Plus you get to use all the best buffs like flame grant me strength, golden vow, blessing of the erdtree, black flame protection and every other defense buff

mostly int and then some dex, been hitting hard whole game untii now lmao, except for the malenia fight which I havent done yet

you tried Adula's Moonblade? That spell helped me a lot in the fight.

Havent tried that but I have it. Imma try it when I play tomorrow and see how it goes, the ranged attack should help for sure. I appreciate it
