That boss is the best gimmick boss they ever did tbh, ngl that s*** was actually creative, like how that one monkey was invisible and you had to basically lure the monkeys using their weakness like one was blind one was deaf

Not even the best gimmick fight of the game and rykard now is easily the best.

Also yeah its creative but my god this was the worst fight when I did it blind. Maybe Im just stupid but it took forever and was just annoying as f***. Plus it wasnt even spectacular or interesting. Definitely one of my least favorite from soft bosses ever

I kinda ruined that fight for myself, i went to Volcano Manor after beating maliketh, dude went down first try without barely hitting me, iirc you could basically stunlock him with the spears weapon art

I wish there were more ways to mitigate damage in this. 50 vigor and enemies in the mountaintops can still hit for half or 3/4 or my health gonna Have to just dedicate 2 talisman slots to defense armor pretty much useless.

From what I understand Mohg is trying to become the elden lord but to destroy the golden order which is what is currently established and create his own to rule over everyone. he gets his power to absorb/use blood from an outer god called the formless mother

kidnaps his half brother miquella to try and turn him into a god ( and possibly smash ) so he can use his power to achieve his goal. but miquella is unresponsive and in that cocoon we see in the arena. possible dlc content but equally possible we never learn more about it mohg is a sicko either way

mohg thinking he could outsmart the smartest empyrean and use them as a puppet for him to rule the lands between was such a dumb narrative decision imo

don't understand why mohg didn't align with rykard, would've made mohg/morgot dynamic way more interesting
