I had elden beast at one shot health but I ran out of healing now I'm playing worse than before
Do the bell bearings I’ve found carry on to journey 2? Or should I stock up on smithing stones before starting?

They don’t carry over so stock up
Mimic sucked to me. Maybe cause my build wasn’t really good for the AI
For the most part I didnt use any weapon or skill that could one shot bosses. Most OP thing I had was Marais executioner sword, but that requires some precise aim and if they move it’s useless.
I used the Blasphemous Blade for Elden Beast cause that s*** was cheap af.
Next play through imma go dex/int. Make a battlemage
Yeah mimic is really dependent on your build. If you’re a mage/prophet with high damage spells he will f*** bosses up with unlimited FP.
On my fist build he was absolute hot dog water.
first time beating Elden Beast on first try was in NG+4 for me and I got crazy RNG that he only did melee attacks
I don't think anything has kicked my ass as hard as the Black Blade Kindred in Caelid, I've finally defeated that a****** after trying and failing for nearly my entire playthrough so far

Not gonna lie. Thread was popping weeks longer than I thought.
It'll be back when dlc drops

In Mohgs palace there's a talisman at the crow lake that negates Holy damage +2
I never collected in all my playthroughs before but it's helpful against the final boss

Does the game end after you play the ending?
nope, just make sure u click no when it asks if you want to do journey 2. after that you can play is normal, if you want to go to ng+ rest at the roundtable
playing this at 4k 60fps for the first time. been playing on 1080p for a week. omygosh it's beautiful.

I don't think any non-stickied thread in this section comes close, even Cyberpunk got less
Idk what it is but games don’t hit the same after I finish them anymore
I replayed DS3 8 times back to back after beating it. I haven’t played this in like 2 weeks
Some really cool tips in here that I never knew. Two or three I knew about but not the others

i noticed what dulls the mimic A.I is overloading it with incants/spells and to just simply reduce it to whatever's the most powerful incant/spell at the time and just keep it singular for it to spam with a powerful skill alongside your weapon to make it more effective.
