Honestly I felt the game was f***ing amazing but this s*** was so long that one playthrough exhausted me of it

w/ how ambitious this game be rollout has been it wouldn’t even surprise me

since ER is a proven goldmine they have tons of incentive to go all out for its expansion

hit a when smithing master hewg wanted to call me lord as he was losing his mind

I think one of the hardest bosses is the deathrite bird in NG+ that only appears at night at the secret mountaintops area next to the church in the north

Especially when you find out what Sellen looks like under the mask

Every death (rite) bird only appears at night, and that one is not exclusive to NG+ either bc i fought it in NG for the Spear weapon

On my 2nd play through

Just got to Altus Plateau and Mt Gelmir

So far I’ve beaten every boss with no summons except Radahn…. Tbh I didn’t even try him solo though lol

For Radahn I used the NPC guys like Blaidd and Alexander, etc but no ash summons

The death sorceries are so underwhelming for the stat investment needed

Basically gotta spec into a int/fth hybrid which leaves hardly any room for leveling str/dex on top of the necessary vig/min/end

Been playing and enjoying Bloodborne since beating this. Really love the faster pace of the combat. But it’s more so how quick your character reactions are. I find that bosses in Elden Ring move a lot faster than in Bloodborne.

Also love how unique the weapons are. They’re a lot less than in ER so they were able to really make each of them standout. Probably way far fetched, but I’d really really like if they released like a Bloodborne weapon pack for ER
I need a weapon like the Beast Cutter, that s*** is so satisfying to use. They really should’ve given whips the same move set. Or maybe in dlc they can make a “heavy whip” category since that’s what it’s sorta classed as. The range on it is actually good unlike in ER you’re pretty much still in range to get hit if you use whips.
