So far the single toughest fight for me without a summons was Mohg until I cheesed him with Comet Azur

Oddly enough the solo Godskin Apostle fight in the one dungeon, not the windmill one, gave me a real tough time. Probably cause I was underleveled. I had to semi-cheese him with sleep arrows.

Maliketh is up next. I had trouble with him with a summons first play through so I’m sure he’s gonna be a b**** without

I’m approaching level 150 though so I’m probably gonna stop there.

This is a great point imo that often western game designers forget. Way too often developers create a formula and then just repeat it the exact same way. However what from soft or nintendo do so much better is teach the core idea and then try to suprise you.

For example the endless dungeon or illusinary walls for ruins. The same is for those magician towers where you get a memory stone. All familiar concepts but very often it has to be engaged in a slightly different way.

Beat Maliketh and Gideon no summons

Does anyone know how does Gideon cast his Comet Azur so fast?

I guess his spells are just OP cause he has so little health

I usually just smashed him while he was talking and stunlocked him to death

theres still so many areas I haven't even explored yet and I'm at 60 hours

Hardly touched Caelid and I still have a whole unlocked sort of the map

Dw brother I didn’t finish my first playthrough until well over 100 hours lol probably closer to 120-130 before I finished

Great club made from the Erdtree lol. never used a club in a souls game. I always love Dex weapons but I've been doing a strength build for now but been using the Uchigatana since the beginning pretty much hah.

Farming the Albinauric women for the silver blue armor at the entrance of Liturgical Town is probably one of the f***in most ridiculous parts of this game

They have a f*** ton of health. Takes like 5 heavy attacks with a +10 moonlight greatsword to kill them
