OK fellas, approaching the endgame now and I need some advice
SPOILERS: Should I burn myself or Melina? I have the needle to undo the chaos ending, I'd ideally want to either have an ending where I'm an independent Elden Lord or whatever the Two Fingers ending is, I don't want to know the details of those, but would choosing who to burn affect that?

no effect on your desired endings as long as you undo the frenzy with the needle which requires an extra step, otherwise you get locked into the frenzy ending
Beating Malenia with nothing but my raw true Radahn build through brute force and sheer will is one of my greatest accomplishments of any game ever. Easily Orphan of Kos level feeling but even better. Forcing myself to learn how to dodge Waterfowl Dance on my own and easily tango with her on my last like 25 attempts was amazing
12+ hours alone spent just fighting 1 on 1, no summons, no spirits, nothing . Full Radahn armor, rune, maxed out dual Starscourge Greatswords and heirloom. I could jump R1 in my f***ing sleep. IM GOD! IM HIM !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What level?
What level?
I started around 120ish I think using Radagons soreseal and then decided to take it off completely and round up my stats to make the difference & finish other areas in the world I hadn’t completed yet so I ended on 150 straight when I finally beat her. A lot of it was spent on endurance so i could use certain talismans & keep medium equip load cus a lot of the mid game I was using great jar & soreseal to keep me at med load for my Radahn build
Should I get this or sekiro first?
Open world Dark Souls vs Tenchu Souls rhythm combat game
Both are 10s just depends on what you wanna play. Theyre really different.
Elon is in pain

Mountop of the Giants really does have so much recycled convent. probably my biggest criticism of the games. areas don't feel unique cuz the same enemies keep popping up.

First of all congrats but the real Radahn would have used gravity magic, i get when people self impose rules if they wanna make it harder but the magic in this game is so awesome, they finally got it right... which makes me sad to see people avoid it like they do for multiple reasons. Not saying you specifically but your post just reminded me of this

Oh I considered all available options in that way believe me. My stats were too low to use really any of it efficiently cus of my STR/DEX build. I even tried a Lions Greatbow build. But the Starcaller Cry, the weapon art for the greatswords, is gravity magic and I used that regularly when I fought her. Also since we’re being pedantic Radahn has no dedicated staff to cast the gravity magic spells in the game with
He casts it himself through sheer will
Also I don’t want this to seem like I’m trying to dismiss magic/spirits or anything cus I love that part of the game alot. I have other saves I mess around on with them. I just really love the lore and wanted to play it out this way for my first original run. My NG+ is gonna be all magic based using spirits and I’ve been collecting as many spells, weapons, armor, etc for it as possible and conceptualizing builds

Good to hear, magic is a blast. Sorcey is the most flashy it has ever been and its my first time using a partly Faith build bc of the awesome dragon and red lightning incantations
Build variety and weapon options are crazyyy, the one thing ER absolutely nailed in comparison to their previous work

The amount of creativity I see in build variation on places like YouTube is insane but what’s even crazier is how viable most of them all. You can play so many different specific approaches and make them work so well. It’s amazing and makes it really feel like you can play any way you want. Frenzy build, dragon build, bloodmage build, mech build LMAO. I feel like how well they executed the depth and complexity of how much genuine choice in approach you have is kinda underappreciated, especially relative to other FromSoft games like you said
started my 2nd playthrough and i’m just now realizing i never went to Weeping Peninsula
