NobodyWinsI’m just kind of lost on where to go. I’m just running around the beginning area and there’s like a boss fight or giant troll dude everywhere I go.
If you haven’t gotten to getting your trust steed yet (his picture in the inventory is a golden ring type thing) you need to get to an area called gate front and talk to a chick (end of the convo she gives u it). You have to go past that big boss at the beginning on a horse, past this forest, into this areas with a bunch of knights (but take a left and avoid conflict) and there will be a grace right there to rest at and get your 🐴

I'd say for now, levelling up needs to be a priority, try and find Sites of Grace to rest at too, you can level up at them, if you see golden glitter in the air, it's usually a sign there's one nearby

I killed them after a few attempts and got the horse. That’s about where I’m at. Was gonna go up that path but started to get shot at by archers and saw a giant dude lmao

S*** man idk if the thing tells you, but the button you use for rolling, if you press and hold it, you start running instead of walking.

Definitely take a chance on some bigger ones, but make sure to level up with any runes you have left beforehand, you wanna have light pockets when you're fighting a boss

Do I just keep killing those smaller enemies for now?
Opposite direction you used to take the Horse. If you keep going that direction, past this arched bridge. There will be two giant trolls shackled to this s*** walking and steering it. You can sneak and slowly wordle their health down (down their stomps by rolling)’and not get noticed by enemies behind the thing they’re hauling. Those guys give you about 1100 runes. Be patient and don’t loose health just keep rolling and take em out. You could then go back to where those soldiers were camping and get this grace and repeat for a while. But doing vigor early probably is best. You will get enough health to last some tough dudes even if you haven’t upgraded a weapon or got a new one yet. I’m not familiar with that class doe

Yes. But they will be around there again for you to pick up should you go back to the same place (golden lines standing vertically from the floor) but if u die again you lose em.

Yes, you get one chance to go back and collect them from a glowing puddle thing that'll be where you last died, but you die on the way there? They're gone for good, so make sure to spend them while you've got them, especially early game

Yessir, experiment with a s***load of weapons too. So many diverse movesets beyond just spamming R1/R2
