I finally caved in and bought a PS5 2 months ago, and was very f***ing pumped to play this. I enjoyed quite considerably, considering I had been waiting so long to play! But without really noticing it, I somehow "finished" the game in roughly 90 hours, and realized I had kinda rushed it, so I got frustrated lol.
Might wait for the DLC to start a new game and really take my time. Oh and I wish these soluce websites didnt exist, I've been too weak to avoid consulting them from time to time and I'm ashamed of it lmao
Rookie, you gotta pump those hours played numbers up. 400+ hours on this side
Also saw an article that said ER was gonna get 2 DLC’s but they ended up combining them into this one giant dlc

glad they are only doing one dlc. think that worked out well for bloodborne and Danks souls 1. both very memorable dlcs
Still mind blowing how people called this game revolutionary and innovative but I guess that's what happens when two thirds of the player base never played a souls game before

Yeah I still love the game. Revolutionary is too much.
I did like the open world concept in the dark souls themed world though. And it is wild how massive it was.
Still think it's up there with bloodborne as my favorite.

Agreed, and the methods to access the DLCs are often so weird that it's a chore to do multiples of them

Ehh it’s definitely weird because the reason so many people find it “revolutionary” is because of the sense of exploration and lack of hand holding it does. Old games used to do this too but then they started overdoing all the objective markers like Assassins Creed and Skyrim. Really I just see it as a return to form for adventure/exploration games, and Zelda is doing the same thing with BOTW/TOTK.
Ditch open world and do old souls game format please
(They won’t cause this sold like hot cakes)
