When you are at a checkpoint there are like golden lines of dust coming from that that guide you the right way

i had the same issue first playthrough though lmfaoooo getting into Volcano Manor the first time is one of the least intuitive parts of the game imo

I’m trying so hard to wait until the DLC so I don’t burn it out

I love me some new From playthroughs but I pretty much always end up with a strength ultra greatsword build or dual wielding dex

I did 2 play throughs, as a STR/Faith and Arcane/Dex
I wanna play a pure mage build now

I'm glad I did Rya's questline and ended up in Volcano Manor by complete accident
2nd playthrough I tried getting to the manor without the questline, s*** was pure hell

I have 400+ hours and like 8+ different builds man I have a problem

yeah i did 2 as well.

did a dex/int/arcane with a scythe for first playthrough, second playthrough i did pure faith and only used the cipher pata was super fun

its kind of the brilliant point. Youre either being invited directly, abducted and then trashed or you go out of your way to fight up mt. gelmir to get the shard.

And even if you up and reach vulcano manor whats waiting for you is a reception. You have proven yourself making it up so youre given the choice to also become their allies similar to being "scouted".

If youre in the manor you arent just directly thrown into the level. No s***s hidden somewhere in the basement. First playthrough I thought it was kinda weird. Only learning the weird state and motives the manor is in it all makes perfectly sense

from soft are just the goats in combining lore, enviornmental storytelling and actual gameplay.

All the legacy dungeons have such a memorable way to be reached that characterizes these places even before you actually reach them

Today I got to leyndell (late game location spoiler)

and found the manor, that’s the old/other version/parallel roundtable hold and like, holy crap my mind exploded

I broke down and reinstalled making a crucible knight build

I hit all my hard caps in my run what tf am I gonna put levels in for the dlc

I guess endurance since I’m a faith run and barely have any of it

you still got a good chunk coming. End of Leyndell is where the endgame starts sort of officially

Theres also a not so secret area the Haligtree that is quite difficult to get to (without looking it up) The descend onto that area was ine of my most memorable and cherished moments of the game.

Might cave and start a quality run everything else is boring me rn

All my strength builds always end up with me using the spiked caestus again too much fun

when did raytracing to this game? my game was taking a performance hit and I found out why.

I tested it out a bit and it seemed to not do much for this game.

I started a 2nd run last night. Thought I was tough s*** and decided to take the Tree Sentinel from the jump and got my ass kicked for 2 hours Breh, I beat this f***in game and the first enemys still destroying me
