that's how it worked for a lot of us who were new to the souls games lol.

if you want a more structured guide you can follow a guide I suppose. but it's fun when you do at least one play through without it.

I’d recommend not looking stuff up, if something’s too hard go somewhere else, the exploration is the best part of the game by far

haven't played in a year, ran thru most of the game with a bleed build
switched to pure STR about 60% in when I realized I'm getting actually good at the game and don't need the "gimmick" of bleed to get thru things
Now I can already see I'll be f***in ass and keep dying to the first f***in enemies and I'll try bleed again only for it to not be viable
Imma be pissed as hell lmao

Strength build is always the most fun for me. Dual bleed katanas is strong af but lacks the oomph of just jump attacking everything with two giant greatswords.
