dunno why people assume that Marika and Radahn staged their fight. Doesnt it make alot more sense that Malenia was looking for Miquella and just assumed radahn was gonna be the most likely candidate given their relationship

i get the feeling that Miquella in his pursuit to reach his goals. Save Godwyn and Malenia, get radahn as consort, complete the the needle. Create an age of compassion and the Haligtree. He had impossible goals and thats why he saw just like Marika godhood as the solution. And thats why he started with abandoning everything and ultimately became corrupted.

The horror elements Miyazaki put in the dlc got me hoping that the next IP is full on horror.

I used the holy negate 3 talisman on him and I used the moonlight great sword for frostbite and mimic tear molly wopped his ass

I think that makes it even more disturbing since we now really cant tell if Miquella charmed them all (except for Mohg who seems very likely). Or even just charme us players. Although the Haligtree, his needle, castle sol all reflect positively on him. I saw a very good a\*\*\*ysis how this DLC is once again all about Marika. Kind off showing us through the lens of the hornsent tragedy and Miquellas character how Marika also became corrupted as a god.

plus the fact that this DLC completely mirrors the basegame. With burning away the branches and ending with the creation of a new lord. This dlc literally is the shadow of the base game

I was a bit disappointed when I heard it doesnt give us a new base game ending but now with all this stuff I might like this afterall. Ranni might be right to say f*** all that takes godhood, the elden ring and us as lord on a thousand year exile so we wonr bother the lands between anymore

Secret path in shadow keep, just before the elevator that leads up to the specimen storeroom there’s a ladder that leads down to a small walkway on shallow water. In the room it leads to there’s an illusory wall near a painting. It’s a long journey from there but you’ll eventually descend into the Abyssal Woods which is where midra’s manse is.

Thought the St. Trina stuff was interesting as well but they didn’t explore that as much. Would’ve loved if they gave us multiple potential endings.
