that looking at your pager is dope
Yea absolute tune
The breakdown in the middle of the song is beautiful
Honestly I don’t listen to that many electronic albums I find that individual songs work better for me
This Fred again album will be great tho
Two shell EP was fantastic
Jockstrap album came out last week and it’s amazing
Bonobo and Flume album were both overall disappointing but worth a listen had some tunes on each
i see. i’m more of an album person so that explains why i asked. love the new jockstrap and i rec the new hudson mohawke
im gonna listen to the new fred again too
honestly, I’m ashamed to say this, but I’ve been listening to more electronic than hip-hop lately
2012-2017 is sooooooo perfect
some kind of game and rave on you are some of my favorite house tracks ever
Has been for a hot minute
I don't like all of it but that's kind of the point, these artists are being creative and trying fresh new things which is dope

i think that's my thing with electronic music. i love the obvious albums, but im not that deep into it because i'm not a singles guy (especially the s*** that's been coming out in the past decade or so)
even his side albums (2012-2017) are among the best electronic albums of the 10s
They’re incredible! His work for FKA Twigs, the AAL albums, NTS Radio remix, Ema soundtrack, writing for The Weeknd, I think Jaar has been greatly overlooked as having one of the best 2010s, nothing but hits.

This is me with Shygirl. Haven't really gotten into her music but I'm hyped for her debut album.
I didn't get into Magdalena Bay until Mercurial World was coming out but now I'm a stan and have heard all their music.

yeah electronic and edm’s #1 medium im platform are singles and eps. i’ve to get out of the album mindset lol
honestly, I’m ashamed to say this, but I’ve been listening to more electronic than hip-hop lately
There's...nothing to be ashamed of
I mean yeah but it's such a broad term I feel that's almost always the case. One of my fav albums this year is Rachika Nayar - Heaven Come Crashing
peep if you like ambient/progressive electronic

Yea I definitely was too and it’s a little weird because a lot of electronic music is not album oriented so it was Def an adjustment for me
I’ll definitely check out that hudmo tho he’s fantastic

Hip hop is just another form of expression, stay too long on sites like this and you'll get tricked into thinking it's the only one that matters like you get tricked into thinking only pop music matters if you spend too much time on Twitter

she snapped on Twig’s mixtape
KTT just need to experience it live one time and they’ll see the vision
I'm in a very small minority but I'm usually let down by live electronic shows.
Like obviously I've been to some cool warehouse raves and DJ sets but as far as actual concerts go, electronic sets usually disappoint me.
What makes something electronic music? Music just made on the computer or does it revolve around that drum break I keep hearing lol
Does s*** that doesn’t revolve around that drum break like nosaj thing count or is that some different s*** from what you’re talking about @op

George Clanton with Magdalena Bay is still one of my favorite shows of all time and I've seen hundreds of bands. Incredible experience just dancing and having an amazing time.
I'm seeing George do Esprit stuff with Death's Dynamic Shroud opening on Halloween

Lol it’s a very broad definition ngl
Definitely largely just music made via computer
A lot of subgenres like house or garage revolve around specific drum breaks/drum styles but as a whole electronic music basically encompasses anything that centers around digital production
“i was like damn it’s a girl producing this fire s***”

imma be honest i mostly listen to male electronic producers because thats what I've mostly stumbled upon however...
i do love Maya Jane Coles, Logic1000, eli and fur
I was super into edm back in 2010-2014 kind of fell out of love with it. Was mainly into rap/rock since then but I've been getting so bored with rap decided to start getting into edm again and I have to agree. So much good music out there. I find a bunch of new songs everyday that I dig
