i kinda was anticipating for the album to not be very good (not sure why) but my initial suspicion was confirmed when i look at the production credits and saw DJ Mustard was again, all over it.

Mustard has been using the same exact f***ing snaps and claps since early to mid 2010s on his hits, he needs to hang it the f*** up. it's really a shame because she has a gorgeous voice but she's opting in for this soulless trapnb that she doesn't really do particularly well honestly.

i personally think she's at her best in more of this vein of stuff, but it is what it is i guess.

like the intro song, and then didn't say are literally essentially the same melody. they just dropped it down in pitch and threw a f***ing cowbell in for the drums.

the s*** is just sad man.

hang it up when his sound is still top selling and influencing the biggest in the game

hang it up because i despise literally everything about his production and sound.

his influence is partially the reason why R&B (at least in the mainstream sense) is so processed and just ass nowadays.
