its impressive how these guys can post s*** like this where even if it's true, it just indicates that black americans face more systemic adversity than white americans. yet somehow they never reach that level of a***ysis.
systemic opression leads to bad living conditions; it's an undeniable truth. bad living conditions lead to more crime/violence; this is also true. so when a community experieces above average violence, and undeniably has gone through a lot of systemic oppression in its history, it should be f***ing common sense to put two and two together and say "oh, the higher murder rate is a symptom of these people getting systematically f***ed over by the powers that be". I mean that conclusion matches everything we know about how societies work, it's not a very big reach. I feel like a middle schooler could figure this s*** out. all u gotta understand is if u treat a people group horribly for hundreds of years, their community is gonna suffer. which like yeah, no s***. actions have consequences.
I know im rambling but it's just crazy to me how these guys can spend all day d***riding facts and logic, and then blatantly toss all that sht to the side when it comes to anything dealing w race. i wonder if they realize how illogical they're being when they push sht like that to people.
always so interesting when u can actively see someone's ideology distorting their worldview in contradictory ways. i wanna know their psyche so bad. like do they know deep down that they're misreading stats like this, but push on regardless? or have they completely bought into their own mythos?
