Em could flow like that still if he wanted to."Castle" from Revival and "Stepping Stone" from Kamikaze are proof of this. But clearly using more unorthodox flows are what keep him interested musically.

his feature on caterpillar was his best in terms of flow in recent years imo, it was a boombap beat so he couldn't do that really fast flow he tends to do over trap s***. His flow on that fat joe song last year was also pretty decent
