anyone with ears knows that eminem was never a good musician/producer

his artform is rapping, that's what he wants to be great at

it's kinda sad since he's tarnishing his reputation with the "lyrical miracle" raps

versatility, different flows etc also make great rapping
there's alot more to rap than rhyming syllables, and forcing the rhymes can actually (imo) weaken the verse
i get that he wants to be known for great rapping but imo he's not going about it with the right mindset as of lately (meaning last decade)

Nah, you haven't been listening if you think he doesn't experiment with flows

It's kind of hilarious when people who got into hip-hop when Cruel Summer dropped try to tell a 25 year vet who listened to hip-hop his whole life what he's doing wrong in his rap.

Wack rap music is wack rap nusic. Doesn't matter how many lyrical miracle syllables you use plus it's clear Eminem has been suffering from an arrested development for the last 20 years now. He's 50 years old thinking it's still 20 years ago with all the weak lines he stays spitting.

Eminem will forever be a technically proficient lyricist but he hasn't made good, enjoyable music in almost 2 decades now. The new generations of rap listeners don't care about the s*** he has to offer today when the best of his work is from 20-25 years ago.

speed isnt the only factor in flowing in rap...

what songs from last decade until now have different flows, not the usual staccato delivery where he speeds up certain parts cramming mutliple rhymes into a verse

he hasnt experimented with s*** since people have stereotyped his delivery and flow either mocking it ( Chris d'elia video) or emulating it (death to mumble rap guy)

this mostly sounds like old eminem and is an outlier in the vast sea of his usual choppy flow fast raps

him sounding like the old him isnt him experimenting , the cadence in the chorus and verses aren't "experimental" for hip hop standards either

He’s gonna have to drop a 4:44 type album and I don’t think he has that in him

He has to end his career on a high note

    it was a rhetorical question

obviously not every single song he put out has the choppy fast raps but an overwhelming majority do to the point he became known for it this past decade, that's what that question meant

I wasn't literally asking for rare examples

I don't think it's wack, and clearly neither do the niggas that listen to him.

Now, you can either take that to mean that perception/enjoyment of music is subjective or you can try to claim that you've listened to and have a better ear for rap than I do.

Which we can actually have a technical discussion about

Man has more monthly listeners than 98 percent of rappers. Clearly people are listening.

I think his last few albums have been good (not classic or anything)

I think you already seeing perception on him changing a bit than from a few years ago. He just got meme’d on for so long.
