the joke was so poorly executed it was never believable to begin with, which is kind of the point of the video but ultimately ends up contradicting the entire premise of what an aprils fools joke is supposed to be. so one is left with, why even bother?

I assumed this had to do with sample clearance and they decided it wasn’t worth the time or money to get everything ready for release

Plus the album is lowkey very dated and I feel like even though Eminem counts it as an album for himself, I think he’d rather it be something that’s in the shadows that you have to go look for, rather than a real album you can go to. But idk
