    RESIGNED

no way that discombobulated was recorded past 2009

Only the second half with the beat change is new material, anyone trying to claim the first half was after 2009 is lying

Most rappers who use a lot of emotion in their delivery just can’t recreate those circumstances and environment they were in.

That's em at his prime lol

That's like asking Jay z to rap like he did on the BP or Nas like on illmatic

Last album wasn't even that bad

    All trash

Darkness was a pretty decent modern track from him.

That s*** ass compared to anything Jay or Nas dropped in recent memory

Well flow wise, he could easily do this s*** again if he wanted to. But delivery wise, his voice isn’t what it used to be. He can’t sound like this even if he wanted to.

This was Em’s best feature in a long time.

He sounds fantastic in this tbh, great verse

  • Mar 1, 2022

May not sound like the delivery prime Em had but it's just as good imo

  • Mar 1, 2022

Eminem & Wayne voices had the biggest fall offs. Wayne isn’t as bad and still listenable just no where near his prime

  • Mar 1, 2022

There’s a part in the opening track from MMLP2 where he does his old voice and delivery and it’s just like damn… this new flow is a choice.

  • Mar 1, 2022

Say my name was also a great one with xzibit around that time

  • Mar 1, 2022

Haven't heard a verse that good in 2022

    That second verse

Wtf happened to this voice and flow? Any examples of his recent tracks where he does this voice, cadence and flow? Eminem always blows my mind because other older rappers still sound like themselves, like Nas and Jay.

Camron is another one that totally lost that spark

i guess he just cant pull that out of him because he's not the same person, he's older. on top of that he's sober now and probably lives a more stable life being less of a celebrity than he was in his peak. he was too controversial back then it was a different time....
lowkey wish he made more s*** like Not Afraid idc how corny people say it i enjoy that song

imo if you get used to the robotic type flow he still makes good songs but maybe he genuinely just likes this new style better.

    Terrible comparison

Nas is still on fire and Jay has aged respectfully as a rapper as well. Both have matured and shown growth in their subject matter while maintaining a high level of artistry

    Em went the opposite route

And he takes himself too seriously, he's too whiny, no sense of humor and when he tries to pretend he's still "Slim Shady" at the age of 50 it's forced and lame

He just failed to reinvent himself in a respectable dope way and now it's too late. Long time fans should have made peace with it a long time ago.

  • Well if someone was 1hour from passing away i guess that does change a person

Maybe he already said hes trying to master new styles
Drake flipped styles too everyone does lmao

  • Mar 1, 2022

He lost most of his rapping ability after overdosing
He said himself he had to relearn how to rap
