Even as an edgy kid I put this song in the trash because it was corny

Yeah even at time this was definitely borderline.

Just so blatantly trying to hit the same notes as his past controversial singles and missing the mark so badly

This was truly the beginning of the end for him

That was the addiction. He always had fun first singles to create hype, and it worked.

Why was this the single??? Like Encore with 50 & Dre would've been a wayyyy better choice

Cause he always dropped funny singles first?

Eminem wasn't "the only guy" making fun of him them media had a field day with those accusations...

Yeah. I wanted something more serious since he was getting old, but at the same time it was so much fun.

People don't realize how most of that edgy stuff wasn't even offending but moreso the most low hanging fruit an artist of that stature (sales, fame, connections) can offer...
he really was on lady gaga's attention whoring pseudo-artist self level but it seems no one wants to adress that...

    I was there

Just Lose It had a snippet leak then radio edit drop. It was shambles on the forums for Stans but the hipsters saw it coming.

I remember seeing the Encore tracklist leak meltdowns too.

Imagine with all the fake Eminem tracklists there could be in 2004 and the one with Big Weenie, Ass Like That comes true.

it was immature, and even low by em's standards. look at how bad it has aged. beefing with female pop stars and kicking legends when they were at their lowest.
