I can’t speak for everyone, but for me personally it’s just I got older and realize how cringe a lot of his lyrics/songs were. When I was a kid I loved SSLP because I thought it was cool and “funny” especially when the world turn or whatever it’s called, now I can’t even listen without wanting to throw up. Only song I’d bump is Rock Bottom. A lot of his songs didn’t age well.
