I can't be the only one who thinks Em's marketing team plants these stories to benefit him, right? Kind of like how ppl on tiktok were randomly trying to "cancel" him a few days before his last album dropped and then it immediately went away after and he happens to poke fun at getting canceled on the single lol I'm completely down with Em doing that gesture and loved the halftime show but it seems just as likely that his team put a story out there about the NFL asking him not to kneel so that it ends up being more of a moment when he does it anyways...always seems to be some story that leaks out about Em right before he has a new album dropping or something else going on

well snoop and dre had similar situations tonight
it โleakedโ that they told snoop not to wear the crip outfit and told dre to censor the โstill donโt like policeโ line and they both did that too

word I mean I'm not definitively saying anything it's just something I've noticed with Em lately...seems there's always some controversy brought up with him right before he's going to release something and usually just results in getting him more numbers...obviously there's exceptions to that but soon as I heard that story break earlier I was like "oh he's gonna kneel and make a thing out of it anyways" lol

If they did all that after being asked not too, that's the last time hip hop is being featured on the halftime show

also feel like if they were just saying "fuck em" and going against what they asked them Snoop woulda been puffin a blunt out there too (yes I've seen the video of him smoking before the performance lol)
It was planned that Em would take the knee. People acting like this happened without Dreโs knowledge or approval. You want to create as many stories as possible. And yes this is good for the NFL.

I mean the NFL def didnโt want them to do certain things. Itโs not like any of it matters though. F*** has kneeling accomplished ever.

That's true, I feel like they were going against the grain but didn't wanna go too far. Being edgy without doing too much
I got chills watching this.
S*** was truly amazing and great for hip hop.. Man Snoop really is great live. His charisma is second to none

agreed...I had the chance to see Snoop live and he was great especially considering I saw Nas at the same venue and he ended up being pretty disappointing (was a show with Damian Marley and Nas spent most that s*** having the crowd just rap the words which got old after awhile and made him look a lil lazy...I've seen him do better performances so maybe I just got a bad one but w/e)
The f*** the NFL gonna do?
worst they could do is cut their mics (which just ruins the show and makes the NFL look worse) or try to ban hip-hop artists from performing at the halftime shows going forward

I donโt know if the NFL would recover from cutting the hiphop act on live television.
They would officially become the racist football league from there.
Great half time show
If nfl doesnโt do another rap halftime show
Not like they could ever top this one lol
