NEONICONI don’t think he really has taken a massive stance on anything recently and outside of music which damn came out back in 2017 he really hasn’t said much. Kendrick promotes unity and saying a line that can cause division on a national tv scale such as the Super Bowl is counter productive to that vision. I also feel that unlike other artists such as kanye he doesn't look for controversy within the media

mentalcase420I can't be the only one who thinks Em's marketing team plants these stories to benefit him, right? Kind of like how ppl on tiktok were randomly trying to "cancel" him a few days before his last album dropped and then it immediately went away after and he happens to poke fun at getting canceled on the single lol I'm completely down with Em doing that gesture and loved the halftime show but it seems just as likely that his team put a story out there about the NFL asking him not to kneel so that it ends up being more of a moment when he does it anyways...always seems to be some story that leaks out about Em right before he has a new album dropping or something else going on
Nah the album and song that mentions being cancelled dropped long before that. He just later released animated lyric videos to some of the songs and people though it was new and responding to the Tik Tok s*** especially
