Em was in his bag here, he was swimmin on the beats, rapping about actual s*** instead of rapping just to rap, and his sounds kinda captures you from the intro til the end.
I wonder what stopped Em from going in that direction.
Could’ve been his 8 mile movie and signing 50 Cent around the same time.d**** bro

After the CD started skipping I just put it in my library where it's still sitting.

Drips replaced the original No Apologies (the song he later used for The Re Up) because the label thought it was too dark of a song. Would seriously make a classic album even better if that change never happens.

Another fun fact, Stimulate was replaced by Say Goodbye to Hollywood, and if you play it in it’s place the fade lines up and everything.
Sample clearance gutted so much of this album. White America had a nirvana sample (replaced with Em doing his best Kurt impression at the end), Hailie’s Song had a Beatles sample, allegedly there were Metallica and AC/DC samples that didn’t clear either.

i was so excited for stimulate when the snippets leaked like a month ahead of time. then sad when it wasnt on the full album. glad it finally came out though. i love say goodbye to hollywood, but stimulate is amazing
