Em hates Tyler and Earl now. He used to rock with them back during the MMLP2 era, but he got really upset when they both s***ted on him publically.
I don't think Em liked Mac at all, not even a little. Never ever acknowledged him and had the audacity to drop his last album the same day as Mac's final album to block him from #1. Halsey would've beat Mac probably, but it was guaranteed with Em.

you can and should be dismissive if people that are relatively new to a genre trying to give their opinion on who stands where.
Being a rapper is for sure more than being lyrical(joyner being on the list is suspect) but if we're talking about pen it's hard to argue for Kanye's place on any greatest rappers list.

Yeah Em seems like the type of rapper to care really only about the technicality of the lyrics in songs now.
He could never make something as beautiful and profound as Swimming or Circles. Just not the type of artist Mac was.
