just seen something about this on Facebook 👀🙌🏽
I’m guessing we get another single on the 28th
Yes hopefully can’t wait!
I reckon now the dates been leaked we must get an official announcement anytime soon now.
I wish he made up with d12 and we get them on this album
He’s cool with D12 just no interest in the group anymore.
The guys he was actually friends with, Mr Porter/Kon Artis and Bizarre are still around him and involved in his music.
They also aren’t interested in the group anymore.
The other two who he was never super close with are the two who still try to keep the group alive. Kuniva was always Porters boy and Swift was Proofs.

Fight music and Purple Pills used to be my s***

D12 is over - Stepping Stones

D12 - Kuniva, Swift and Jake Bass (Jeff Bass’ son) on tour now!

i know the Meg line pissed him off. houdini was purposely tame and still offended people that's what's crazy. the track is just fun satire and classic self reference Eminem, I don't get this " trying to recapture the old days " narrative to discredit it
I cannot stand fantano, like how can you not see Houdini as just dumb fun, and instead get genuinely offended by it.
Like the “everything is gay” bar is the silliest most obviously tongue in cheek thing I have ever heard in my entire life. The definition of “hey man, don’t take me too seriously right now, I’m just goofing”

feel like fantano tries to hard to get the approval of younger generation, especially on social media. he purposely missed the point of the song
in the Houdini video you literally see him being to old to do what he did back in the day that's the joke. death of slim shady because it precisely wouldn't work today. but we'll see once the album drops
The song in itself is catchy and most importantly em actually sounds great on it that's why it's good. Nobody who likes it acts like Houdini wants to be super offensive and go against the "PC culture" but once again, people were still mad at it.
Finished Revival now. It’s slightly better than the first listen I had on release. Arose has grown on me a little. Fave tracks will now be Castle, Framed and Arose.
Now starting Kamikaze 😎 really enjoyed this album. Played hell outta Lucky You when this album dropped.

That first flow on lucky you where he’s just slowly talking is one of his best deliveries since the old days
Especially when he says ‘Man I used to risk it all, now I got too much to looose?’
He sounds so normal and comfortable on that part

Kamikaze is crazy good too me. So many dope flows on that record.

fantano is really a prime example of someone who at one point was a decent critic who got his entire brain completely melted by the internet
a long time ago he was some weird idiosyncratic critic who had interesting opinions because of his ability to draw critiques across genres and backgrounds. his "hot takes" were usually a result of him being detached and making personalized opinions separate from popular discourse. even if i never liked him or watched him i at least understood his takes on stuff and he was typically more balanced than contemporaries like pitchfork reviewers. while he always poked fun at being online, you really saw him getting more online increasingly and it started f***ing with his reviews and opinions - before he did this whole "i'm a cool hip online guy" he was doing the weird ass "im a counter-culture atheist right wing guy". then he became a twitter obsessed weirdo and it started literally affecting his reviews. he's arguably worse than a lot of review outlets now
compare him with another weird idiosyncratic reviewer like christgau. christgau may have hot takes but they never feel unfair in the sense of being influenced by pop culture. all of fantano's takes feel pulled from twitter discourse in some manner now whenever i see them pop up
re listen encore and relapse
i love both
I wanna love relapse because the production is hard and his flow was still consistent then but the serial killer content is too much lol.
whole songs dedicated to it is wild.
I cant ride around bumpin whole songs about serial killing lol

so f***ing ass made me stop the album 5 seconds in, never heard the whole joint bc of that intro
as soon as that generic trap beat starts with the skylar gray vocals i was out

That’s not Skylar Grey 🤣
And it’s literally a Dre beat. Troll harder.
