Would be good for soundtrack but not studio album
Yeah feels like a song that would’ve been on Em’s Southpaw soundtrack
This flow is pretty good, not sure what you are looking for on a song like this. No double or triple time or choppy s***.
Maybe it’s not his flow but his delivery. I can’t put my finger on it but I think it’s the way he kinda whispers his verses now, which is ironic because I used to hate when he’d scream his verses in the Recovery era. Regardless, there’s something with this track that wasn’t present on Houdini, and that song felt very fresh as a result.
It's not bad, but why put it out as the 2nd single? This didn't need to be a single at all tbh
I love Eminem's flow on this. He sounds more natural sounding on this without trying so hard.
This should be an indicator throughout the album that his flow should sound more natural and silky.
But yeah, I like both singles so far. He's 2/2
this beat is so bad
It was good b4 I don't understand @ most throw on like a snare

It’s the mixing which admittedly is ass. The way they mix down his vocals you can hear his lips touch in most of these recent songs. They remove all the lows and keep the highs in his vox

Agreed. Song is ok for an album cut. Not a good single
Nah this is trash. Houdini was great but he’s back to the boring flow, generic beat and oddly bad mixing of the last few years. This definitely lowers my hype for the album.
OVO Devin
Yall delusional Drake stans got no right to talk about what's fire and what's trash.

Because they already did a video for it before it got cut off the lyrical lemonade album. Not a big deal. The second song released for TES was Say What U Say and the second song for Recovery was Won’t Back Down. Doesn’t really mean anything. Not even necessarily the second ‘single’
verses all fine but man this beat and mixing really kinda ass. s***s way overproduced and takes away from what's being said like
I can see this one being a grower but rn have little to no desire to return to this
hope this ends up to be one of the bonus tracks smh
