It’s true. It’s really bad. Rapping just to rap with terrible beat choices, bad song ideas, too many awkward s***ty flows and lyrics. He legit ruins I Will with the second half of his verse after a good start, he can’t help himself

I think Eminem fans will love this album so I’m happy for them. It’s a concept album, and he has enough charisma and character building he’s done over his career, that if you’re really into the whole thing, I imagine is great material for a concept album based on the title.

It’s the right kind of album for him to make at this point. Play into the earned nostalgia with a fresh take on it. I’m not really an Eminem fan at all haha, but I’m happy when fanbases get the album they want from the artist.

I might enjoy his music but that doesn't make me blind. I judge his music just like anyone else.

There are some weak tracks sure, but tracks like Lock it up, unaccommidation, darkness, no regrets, premonition, leaving heaven, you gon learn are far from bad. I dont see any issues with the way he flows either.

Songs like Yah Yah, I Will are also dope. It's the love songs that take down the album. But saying it's revival bad is just wrong in all fields.

The problem is his rapping isn’t interesting, doesn’t fit the songs, it’s all technical or completely trite rehashes that removes any life from the music. Black Thought is just as technical and has 10x more life and energy in his one verse than the whole album. Darkness for example is a terrible melodramatic track he’s made a dozen times. He’s not doing anything interesting or creative on these records. It’s treading water
