I agree. I love it tbh. I just have to be in a mood for it because of the concept.

It and encore are in his second tier of projects where they're great but just a bit flawed. Encore has higher highs, relapse doesn't have as many lows.

It's just a rappity rap horror core fest and I f*** with it.

main problem with recovery is that em thinks that going pop is sign that he is more mature , and album is more serious ..... he could do pure rap album and still be serious - topics on this album are on point but how he do it at end is just meh.......

I don't know if equated the two, but definitely tried to push more in that direction. He was really hurt by relapses reception. Anything to 180 that is what he was flinging on that s***.

And some of it like. Space bound is the only relationship song I like from Em.

And i like It for what it is. It did help me get through some s***. But I look back and say this just has too much bullshit.

He could've cut that album down significantly and I promise it would be looked at more positively.

As an em fan for as long as I've been conscious, it's pretty damn good. I honestly put this 4th in his discography.

Tobey works well as an album cut. Wasn’t a great single but I like it as a track in the Marshall section of the album

On top of that he has ducked countless good/top tier rappers who have called him out on account of being “too big” or “they are irrelevant”.
