Tbh I think I like every song thru GC2, after that it falls off a bit but there aren't really any terrible tracks like his last several albums

its perfect one sit listen if it ends with GC2 . i cant see the point of those other tracks. but i know the audience and purpose
Idk man is this whole album about cancel culture? Cause like I swear no one is actually actively trying to cancel Em
Like what controversy has he even been in regarding being canceled in recent years?
He really shouldve released them couple shock bait songs first as singles without exposing the concept at all and let the audience react then release the latter half as a plottwist

Yeah or remove a couple tracks & make GC2 3rd to last followed by Temporary + Save Me. Would have been like Slim died then emotional end
every time eminem releases a new album im like surely he’s back to form then u listen and realize he’s just exponentially worse than 2 years ago
then u listen to his old music and realize it’s always been dog s***
it’s like dat one meme of the guy staring at the universe sayin it always has been.

Yeah, I really didn't need "Bad One" or "Tobey."

None of this is reality
Listened to this in full twice now. Definitely a great concept album. But not something I would come back to unless I want to listen to it in full.
It’s like watching a movie. Gotta watch the full thing if you want it to make sense
But as I said earlier ITT, I put it up there with Deltron 3030, if I want to have a musical experience, I will listen it. Otherwise, I wont
“Look who’s talking dog, like Brian from Family Guy”
He needs to stop the similes, why did he start doing that s*** post Relapse? Most of them are lazy or just straight up corny. Besides the choppy flow and fast rapping he goes back to this is by far what puts me off the most from his s*** in 2024.
This is still ass and cringy but it’s definitely better than every album he’s put out the last 15 years probably
Has The Man dropped his review of it in here (if he’s still on this site)?
It’s cool. Some songs I’ll go back to a lot for sure and that’s all I expect atp. A lot of cringe tho

That’s real, pretty much where I’m at on it, good to see you on here
This album dropped during the perfect times and I'm glad he took the challenge
Yes he is kinda forcing the PC s*** but this is a make up for the past 2 decades
i feel insane for how much road rage is growing on me
Nah you’re not alone. The beat, slys parts, and ems flow on road rage is top tier
If he had more general/better subject matter, this song could have easily been top 10 em
But he pretty much ruined it by dissing fat people and talking about trans people lol

Oh s*** what happened to him lol I forgot about that mf

Regarding his old music (talking SSLP to TES), I wouldn’t say it was trash. It’s just a victim to the times and not aging well
The problem is younger audiences don’t like or can’t relate to Eminem because they either weren’t conscience or were not even alive when Eminem was popping
He and his music became so popular because it was a “breath of fresh air” when he dropped. The world was burdened with bubble-gum pop stars and cringey rock bands, and there was someone (Eminem) dissing them publicly and having a “don’t give a f***” attitude toward critics and white culture as a whole. Which, also because he was white, amplified his stardom
Also, people forget his background is battle rap/horrorcore. Both of these don’t translate well to the mainstream, and likely wouldn’t have without the aforementioned points of his music/attitude, but now that that’s a played-out lane, it especially doesn’t today, and his old stuff doesn’t translate well to the new-gen
