I love old Em but going back to that s*** when I’m older it seems kind of lame that he’s making 6 minute songs about killing his baby mama. You are the most famous rapper on Earth and you had a shot with MARIAH CAREY and you’re still mad as f*** about you’re baby mother. I feel like all this s*** only made him more miserable and he woulda still had classics with out all that… MMLP the first rap album I ever heard and it will always have a place in my heart but “Kim” kind of seems like some b**** ass s*** to me as a grown man.

SBMikeCrazy how Em just straight up put her through hell. Imagine one of the biggest stars oat having their entire fan base turn on you hating you, rapping about killing and raping you.
Em’s peak was probably a very traumatic experience for her. Hope she recovers and gets well.

Even when he apologized to both Kim and his mother, he still acknowledged they were imperfect people as well
People act like this came out of thin air. Like he just made these songs because he was “bored”, artists are allowed to talk about their traumatic pasts. Brain Damage was made out of a real situation, he almost died in real life because of Deangelo Bailey. He was in a comma.
But because when he came out he as agressive and angry rather than depressed and sad, people digested it differently and tried to paint HIM as the villain.

I think you’re right. Wasn’t sure. But on Chronic 2001 Dre says Em is “Triple Platinum doing 50 a week.” Dude had no excuse to be down that bad. I know he loves his daughter but I can’t help but feel like it’s really painful for her to listen to all that s***. I don’t know what you’re referring to with Encore
Before MMLP his biggest hit peaked at number 36 on the US billboard (My Name Is), his previous album didn’t even reach number 1, it was number 2 under TLC and sold less than 300K first week
Yeah he was famous, but he wasn’t at the level of supe om that he was when MMLP dropped. MMLP could have flopped, it could have easily backfired in his face and he would be known as ‘that white rapper that made a funny song in the 90s’.
And Kim was recorded in the 90s, before SSLP was even released
