Im getting charged atleast 200 a month for energy for a 2 bedroom apt

Is this normal? Is there anywhere i can go to complain?

Ngl for a two bedroom apartment that sounds about right, especially since it’s summer. Do you have centralized A/C where you live? They’ll tend to charge more during “peak hours” (example 5-9 PM)

If you work non-remote, I’d suggest turning off the A/C as soon as you leave vs leaving it on all day

I have solar on a 4 bedroom home, around 2500 sq ft. Electric water heating and air conditioning. Gas furnace for heating and gas stove.

My electric bill is about $27 per month which is basically just the service fee. All my energy needs are covered by solar. My gas bill is usually under $10 in the summers since it’s just the gas stove. In colder months when I use heating it’s about $35-50 if I had to guess.

No clue. My s*** is just on auto pay idek what it costs each month lol

Depending on which state ya'll are in, I can def help bring that down if you qualify as a homeowner via solar(I get some are against it or just don't fully get it)

Most folks overpay, when you can allocate that money elsewhere

i.e., no one should be paying hundreds for energy bills monthly. Most local energy companies raise the rates a couple times a year. They're sneaky with it
