i don't agree that he's improved as an artist honestly and im surprised this isn't a more popular take. don't think any project he's made post KL has topped anything from then. i like a good portion of songs on some of the pop projects but i lost interest as a fan a long time ago

I'm on the same boat as you most his best work is before 2016, but I still like some of his new stuff, I just don't think it's better than his old stuff.

He's making pop hits now so he can't be as wordy as his old music so he's handicapped from the jump whenever he's making new music hence his creativity may feel lacking

ig i know what you mean but i would not consider myself a fan of his at all anymore. he's basically a different artist now and has pretty much nothing of what i actually found interesting about his music from back then. that new album is the first one that had absolutely no tracks that i cared for. like his music BEEN unrecognizable to me

i did finally listen to the album and i didn't care for a single track. can't see why i'd like the movie at that point
